Posted on 07/24/2020

Part of the state’s requirements for opening of  schools in the fall is the completion of the Connecticut School Reopening Template, which is part of the Connecticut School Reopening Plan, "Adapt, Advance, Achieve: Connecticut's Plan to Learn and Grow Together". This plan was presented to the Board of Education for review at their meeting on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. In addition, it was reviewed and accepted by the  Connecticut River Area Health District and reviewed by Old Saybrook Emergency Management. The plan is driven by a combination of the requirements (marked CR in the plan) and guidance (Marked CG in the plan) set forth by the state of Connecticut, as well as decisions made at the local level regarding best practices (Marked OS in the plan).
